Sunday Dresses

I had to take a picture of my girls in their Sunday dresses. Aren't they just beautiful? :)

This dress is special for more than one reason. My momma made it for me. I remember wearing it, because it has a bell hidden in the petticoat. I remember ringing the bell.

The one that Sweet Pea is wearing was her Easter dress this year. It is now about 3 inches shorter than it was then.
And I just think this is an adorably cute picture of Little Bit. :)

Those are my girls. I'm proud of them.

Hugs, Melinda

  2. You should be proud - what sweet girls you have! And I think that is so sweet about the dress your mother made with the bell in the petticoat. Is it still there?

  3. I followed you here from Karen's blog and I have to tell you those are two beautiful girls. Cute dresses, but cuter girls.

I love the bell in the petticoat idea. I wonder if your clever mama was trying to keep track of an active little girl.

    Thanks for sharing.

  4. Boy, they sure are cute!

Sis, I don't think I ever wore that one! But I bet it's fun to "hear" her wear it! ;)

  5. I just had to leave a comment, those pictures are SO SWEET! Oh, I could eat them UP! :)
The bell in the dress is so nostalgic... I love the dress, and love that you saved it for them. I have tons of little girl clothes tucked away, and I always wonder, "why?" Now I have hope that they will be re-used one day!
